Most of our tomato varieties are indeterminate (vining), and grow best with some sturdy support. We offer a number of determinate (bush) varieties also. The determinates are all labeled as such.

Graham's Goodkeeper Tomato - Annapolis Seeds - Nova Scotia Canada
Graham's Goodkeeper Tomato (out of stock)

A really good multi-purpose variety, great for sauce or fresh eating. What makes this tomato unique is it’s ability to store and ripen over the fall and winter. The mature but still green fruit can be picked before the frost and ripened indoors. Store them somewhere cool and with good air circulation and they’ll ripen over a period of weeks or months. 30 seeds

Japanese Black Trifele Tomato - Annapolis Seeds - Nova Scotia Canada
Japanese Black Trifele Tomato (out of stock)

A beautiful and exceptionally rich pear-shaped tomato. Among the darkest of the black tomatoes, and definitely among the most flavourful. They also rarely split. Very productive. As far as I can tell, this variety actually originates in Russia... so the name is a bit of a mystery. 30 seeds

Moskvich Tomato (out of stock)
Moskvich Tomato (out of stock)

Twisted Brook says if you only grow one tomato, let it be this one. Super cold hardy Russian variety, productive and great deep and rich flavour. Large slicer verging on beefsteak size. Deep, richly flavoured, red meaty slicer for sandwiches and fresh salsas. Equally perfect for sauces, pastes and canning. Good disease, split and cold resistance. Performed well in the drought conditions of 2016. The parent plants for this seed crop froze solid on a super cold night in spring. The flat was tossed to the side, seemingly done for, and yet came back stronger (and furrier) than its well protected kin who had spent a cozy night under cover. 30 seeds

Cosmonaut Volkov Tomato (out of stock)

New for 2020 - My friend Corey gave me these seeds last year, they've long been a favourite of hers. I'm glad I gave them a try! A short row of plants yielded buckets of medium-large fruit; richly flavoured and meaty. It was our most productive variety in 2019. Heirloom from Ukraine, named after Soviet cosmonaut Vladislav Volkov. 30 seeds

OSU Blue Tomato
OSU Blue Tomato
Price: $3.00

Round 3-4” red fruit with blue shoulders. Developed at Oregon State University; this was the first tomato variety with blue anthocyanin pigment. The end result of naturally cross pollinating a regular red tomato with a blue wild tomato relative. Tomato breeders have since run with this anthocyanin trait, and dozens of blue tomato varieties have appeared over the past ten years. This is the tomato that started it! Good flavour too. I like them in sandwiches and they're beautiful in salads. It's tempting to pick them too early before the flavour really develops, but be patient; they’re quite tasty when fully ripe. 30 seeds
