(New) Moonbeam Watermelon (Citrullus latanus) - An early maturing watermelon that produces well here in the north. Striped green skin sweet, glowing yellow flesh. The small fruits are the perfect size for one or two people.
Blacktail Mountain Watermelon (Citrullus latanus) - One of the earliest maturing watermelon varieties around, it was developed in the 70’s by breeder Glenn Drowns to mature in his challenging Idaho climate. Mid-sized, red-fleshed melons are sweet and loaded with flavour. Beautiful dark green (almost black) skins. Productive even when grown outdoors in this climate.
(New) Armenian Cucumber (Cucumis melo) - This delicious cucurbit is part of the species Cucumis melo, the same species as cantaloupe, rather than a true cucumber. In the taste department though it has a lot more in common with it’s cucumber cousins, being cool and juicy with a delicious faint hint of melon. The long green fruit are best picked fairly young.
(New) Boothby’s Blonde Cucumber - A heirloom classic from Maine. Excellent dual purpose cucumber: stays sweet even when overripe for fresh eating and makes the perfect pickle when picked young! Fruits are on the small side, 4-6” and tan colored, turning plump and yellow as they ripen. A new favourite!

Suyo Long Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) - A very crisp, sweet, tender cucumber that grows about 16" long and stays quite thin. Great fresh or pickled, the fruits have small spines which easily rub off. The cucumbers will spiral if grown on the ground, they'll grow straight if the vines are trellised. Originally from China. 25 seeds (0.75 grams)
