These plum shaped fruits ripen to a rich yellow colour (almost orange) and only a bit larger than a cherry tomato. They’re very flavourful with a thick, meaty consistency. The famous Italian sauce tomato. The juice from this variety is so thick it that needs very little boiling down to make sauce, you can nearly squeeze a San Marzano directly onto your pasta!
